The German, budget grocer will be coming to Chantilly Crossing Lane in Chantilly on Wednesday, May 3, will receive gift cards worth up to $100. A raffle for a $500 gift card will also be held.
Free samples, Lidl swag and other goodies are also in the mix.
The Chantilly store is nearly six years in the making, having been proposed in 2017.
Headquartered in Arlington, the discount grocer has more than 30 stores in Virginia.
